is a Persian
Heriz. Heriz is located in north-west Persia. The dominant
composition is based on a large angular central medallion,
set against a field of geometrically stylized floral forms
and inwardly decorated corners.The predominant colors are
shades of brick red, burnt orange and shades of blue. It
is one of the most powerful Persian decorative schemes.
They are considered the best of the coarsely woven Persian
rugs.It measures 8'6"X11'4". Perfect condition.
Full pile. Absolutely no damages or repairs of any kind.
Beautiful deep rich colors. Better quality shiny wools,
very dense weave. Unusual Ahar Heriz design. Beautiful Ivory
quarter panels, reds, navys, emerald green, rose, camel
and med. blue. This rug is approximately 25 years old. Clean
and like brand new.
